The Tashinga Initiative is a conservation area covering 17,000 miles² along the Zambezi River. In order to facilitate and fund the conservation program as per the business plan developed with VPC; donors / philanthropists are able to purchase a square mile of this conservation area for US$192. If each of the 17,000 miles² can be sold, this will fully fund the operation and will thereby have a significant impact on reducing the poaching and deforestation which has seen dramatic increases in recent years.
