CPR3 for IMPACT
VPC has devised a systematic approach to enhance the performance and results of philanthropic initiatives. The cpr3 process ascertains a project’s efficiency and effectiveness in relation to its overall objective, while highlighting key elements through which to enhance and improve their underlying operations.

Commercial Performance Review – CPR
The Commercial Performance Review (CPR) is our fundamental business analysis used to qualify best practices and aimed at maximizing on the ground results. This review, although geared towards non-profit operations, may be likened to a comprehensive business-process-review coupled with an analysis of important due diligence criteria.
It includes both a critical path analysis to ensure a focus on results, and detailed examinations across eight critical business areas to arrive at a ‘snap-shot’ of the overall quality of a project’s current operations. These eight areas are:

• Delivery of Objectives
• Staffing
• Fundraising & Marketing
• Integrity & Compliance
• Internal & External Communication
• Financials
• Monitoring & Evaluation
Cost Per Result – CPR2
Cost Per Result (CPR2), phase 2 of our process, builds upon the CPR to quantify the results of a philanthropic project through calculating the all inclusive cost of achieving each intended result.
It is our view that Cost Per Result creates a clear operational and competitive advantage for VPC endorsed projects in contrast to those projects more commonly measured or tracked on activity alone.
Charity Productivity Rate – CPR3
Charity Productivity Rate (CPR3), is phase 3 of our process, and is VPC’s proprietary benchmarking algorithm that fundamentally levels the playing field by adjusting for parameters and circumstances across different projects. CPR3 is used in conjunction with Commercial Performance Review and Cost Per Result so as to provide donors and project managers with an objective measure of performance.
